If water popping floor prior to staining,\nwait until the floor is fully dried before applying Neptune wood\nstain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e2) Apply Neptune with the grain of the wood at coverage rate of approximately 700-800 sq. feet\nper gallon.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e3) Allow Neptune to penetrate for 6-8 minutes then remove any excess with a soft clean cloth or\nbuffing with non abrasive material. When a Vermont Natural Coatings floor finish is applied as\nthe top coat, the color will shift back to its original tone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e4) Allow 8 hours of normal drying conditions before top coating with Vermont Natural Coatings top\ncoats. Roller application is preferred, t-bar can be used.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e5) After 2 coats of finish have been applied, lightly sand to knock down any grain raise.
