Fjällräven Vardag Splitpack 45L Duffel Bag
Fjällräven Vardag Splitpack 45L Duffel Bag
The Fjällräven Vardag Splitpack 45 is the everyday version of the Splitpack idea, and the only bag in our duffle range that Fjällräven positions as carry-on sized.
It opens into split compartments the same way — clean one side, worn the other, no digging — but in a cleaner, less technical shape that doesn't look out of place walking into an office or a hotel. Forty-five litres covers several days without needing the check-in queue.
Produced without PFAS, and it wears as a backpack when your hands are full. Vardag means "everyday" in Swedish, which is the point.
Worth knowing before you buy
- Confirm your airline. Designed as carry-on, but allowances vary — check before you fly.
- Not a technical bag. If it'll live on boats or in trays, look at the Exped Tempest range.
- Larger and cheaper than our 35L Splitpack. Different construction — see below.
- Two colours only. Coal Black and Un Blue-Green.
Common questions
How much is it in Australia?
$304.90. Official Australian stockist with local stock and full warranty support.
Is it carry-on size?
Fjällräven designs the Vardag Splitpack 45 as a carry-on bag for weekend trips. Cabin allowances vary between airlines, so check yours before you fly.
How is it different from the standard Splitpack?
The Vardag is the everyday line — cleaner styling, carry-on sizing, and a lighter construction than the heavier-duty G-1000 HeavyDuty Eco used on the Splitpack 35L.
Why is it cheaper than the smaller 35L Splitpack?
Different construction and materials rather than a lesser bag. The 35L is built for harder use; the Vardag is built for regular travel and everyday carry.
Can I wear it as a backpack?
Yes. Shoulder straps let you carry it on your back when your hands are full, and haul handles handle the short lifts.
